New Apartment

Ok all...here is our new apartment in Salt Lake. It's a 2 bedroom which is so nice! We are enjoying it. Here is our kitchen, looking from the front door. Like most apartments there is always something a little weird like our washer and dryer in the kitchen! Weird, but at least we don't have to go to the nasty laundry mat any more.

This is the other side of the kitchen with the sink oh and the washer!
Here is the living Room view from the front door again (you can choose when you walk it to go left into the LR or right inot the Kitchen). And there is my sweet boy taking a nap after a long day at school.
Oh and notice that he is laying on our new couches!!!!! Hooray! We own our own brand new couches!

Here is our little entertainment wall...notice the millions of CD/DVD's, our ghetto "bunny ears", our stereo (which we hooked up to our DVD player...close to surround sound), and of course our Wii!!!! Look who's on TV...OPRAH!
This is our office/catch all room. It is still not fully organized as you can see, but it works.

We also had to put our dresser in the office because it wouldn't really fit into the bedroom. Here is the bedroom..."Where the magic happens" (like they say on every episode of Cribs on MTV...silly famous people)
And finally every girls dream...his and hers closets (not very big but they work).

Labor Day Golf

On our day off from school Craig and I took the time to sleep in, get some things done around the house and then in the afternoon we went golfing up at the U of U golf course. (it is a smaller course, great for beginners). It was the perfect time to go...we went right at dusk so the weather had cooled down. We actually didn't get to finish all 9 holes because it was too dark by the time we got to the 8th hole, but we had a fun time and it was a beautiful view of the city at sunset. It was especially fun because we have our own clubs now, thanks to Craig's brother Rob!!! It was nice not having to rent clubs. Neither of us is very good at golf, but we enjoy going golfing and we are getting better. Our new phrase is "don't try to kill the ball...be it's friend" because we always try to hit the ball super hard "kill it" and we just need to learn to be it's friend and treat it right. :0)

Wedding Fun

Our friends Seth and Carly got married in the Portland Temple Friday Aug. 24th, 2007. After moving back to Utah (the next day) we drove to Portland, Oregon. Along the way we stopped at this beautiful hotel called the Columbia Gorge Hotel and walked around. There is an amazing view of the Columbia river and there is a waterfall right behind the hotel. Here is a picture of Craig and I in front of the waterfall. (of course it is more beautiful in person when you can look down and see the whole thing). We actually got into Portland the night before the wedding so all the boys went out to dinner (a Mormon bachelor party). The wedding was wonderful. If you haven't been to the Portland temple there is an atrium inside the temple (and yes you are aloud to take pictures in there).
Here is Seth and Carly (not the best picture...Craig only took a few of them) This is them doing their silly Zoolander FaceSeth and Craig have been friends since they were kids and Carly is from their stake. Here are some more pictures at the temple of all of Seth's guy friend there.
From left to right it's Craig, Cameron, David, Rob (my bro in law), Brent (my bro in law), and Seth laying acrossHere is Craig , Myself, Amy (Brent's GF), and Brent at the templeAnd ROB....We're all silly
While in Walla Walla Amy cut my hair (and Brent's hair too.) She is going to go to school to be a hairdresser. It was fun. She is so sweet!
Here are the crazy boys with the decorated wedding car. They are silly.

Summer Fun!!!

Craig and I have had a busy and fun filled summer in Ventura, CA. Craig sold pest control for his third summer...and I took care of my G'ma Beebe most of the summer and also did some design work. I had two clients...it was good experience. We have done so many fun activities including the Santa Barbara Zoo, Paint balling, Disneyland, Santa Monica Pier, Deep Sea fishing, Rodeo, seeing the musical Wicked, Surfing, the Getty Museum, and so much more. We really had so much fun with our family and friends. Here are some pictures from our fun times!

We went to the Santa Barbara Zoo with Craig's brother Brent and later meet up with my mom, Tricia, Damon, Shane, and Trevor. We had fun as adults and with the kids. I love animals...they are so interesting. Here is a giraffe drinking water. Who knew that that is how they would drink...by doing the splits. CRAZY!We went paintballing with my brother in law Jon and his bro Kevin. It was my first time ever paintballing! I had fun and I even got people out!!!Craig and I went to Disneyland with Craigs friend David and his girlfriend Emily. We had such a good time our favorite rides were space mountain and the new Buzz Lightyear ride (which is what the above picture is from) it is so much fun because it is interactive and you get to shoot targets with your lazer gun. We rode it 3 times. It is the Happiest Place On Earth!

Here is our deep sea fishing trip, we each caught one fish!!! They were Yummy! We were down in LA going to the temple and afterwards we went to the Santa Monica Pier. We ate some yummy food at Bubba Gump and then rode the ferris wheel. Good Times!

For our one year anniversary Craig took me to see the play Wicked. I loved it!!! It was absolutely AMAZING!

One morning before Craig went to work we drove down to LA and went to the Getty Museum. It was fun. We loved the gardens and there were some neat exhibits.

Here is a picture of Craig and I in Tijuana, Mexico. We took a trip down to San Diego (and some other So-Cal cities) with my parents and since we were so close to the border we decided to walk across the border. We had fun bargaining with the locals. We got some good stuff...including Mexican jumping beans and Mexican blankets. It was quite and experience. We had fun exploring So-Cal.
